What cookies are

Cookies and similar tools currently used

• onlyscreenshot-session: technical session cookie used for authentication, session persistence and account security.
• XSRF-TOKEN: technical security cookie used to protect requests and forms against CSRF attacks.
• onlyscreenshot_locale: technical cookie used to remember the language selected by the user; it may remain stored until manual deletion or natural cookie expiry.
• onlyscreenshot_cookie_consent: technical cookie storing the choice expressed in the cookie banner; current duration is about 180 days.

Legal basis for technical cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are used to provide services explicitly requested by the user, protect the website, maintain the session and remember essential preferences. Prior consent is not required for these cookies, although information must still be provided, in line with Directive 2002/58/EC, applicable national law and, for Italy, Article 122 of the Privacy Code.

Non-essential cookies

As of the last updated date, OnlyScreenshot does not install profiling, marketing or non-anonymised analytics cookies through its public website or dashboard.

If non-essential tools are introduced in the future, they will only be enabled after a compliant consent mechanism is implemented and both this notice and the banner are updated, in line with GDPR, applicable ePrivacy rules and the guidance of the Italian Data Protection Authority on cookies and other tracking tools, including its June 10, 2021 measures where relevant.

Banner and preference management

The banner on the site allows users to accept or reject non-essential cookies, if any, and to access this notice. The current choice is stored in the technical cookie onlyscreenshot_cookie_consent.

Cookie duration

• Session cookies remain active until the session ends or for the time strictly necessary to keep it active.
• The onlyscreenshot_cookie_consent cookie is currently configured with a duration of about 180 days.
• The onlyscreenshot_locale cookie has a persistent duration and may remain active until manual deletion or its technical expiry.

How to disable or delete cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may impair login, security protections, language persistence and proper operation of the website.

Widget installed on third-party websites

The OnlyScreenshot widget is designed to collect reports and technical data at the time of the end user’s voluntary action. It is not designed as an advertising profiling tool and should not be used for tracking purposes unrelated to report management.

The operator of the website that decides to install the widget must assess its own privacy/cookie notice toward end users and verify the correct legal basis for the widget on that site. In particular, that operator should assess whether loading the script, collecting technical data and capturing a screenshot require additional disclosures or further compliance steps in its own context.
